The first time we ever did something outside of class I went to her apartment and we talked for like, 3 hours. She insists to this day that it was fun and that whenever i was yammering she was listening intently and really did care. I can't help but think she was bluffing. even just a little tiny bit. :P

Where I have been, what i have been doing.

There's been a lot less activity than usual.  Well, i've been working on a board game with a few chums from my hometown.  I've been put in charge of the art for the game, and well, here it is. They approached me with the game nearly fully formed, and i have since been brought on as a game designer.  It is called Zombie Manor, with a name change likely.

This is the main villan of the game.

A normal person might see this picture and think we were watching some national tragedy together. In truth, we were all dead quiet watching the Dead Island trailer before APS. Too bad the game sucked when it was eventually released. Also, yes I know that I've changed the list again.

Day 16- Movin' on home.

I honestly didn't think I would move back to Ottawa after college. But, since I went to art school and studied something that barely exists anymore, I wound up movin' back home.

Day 15- Community.

I know that Community hasn't officially been cancelled, but I imagine this will become a reality too soon.

Love love love this show. The Eyerie is such a cool idea for a prison/keep. And it didn't hurt that my favorite Lannister, Tyrion was held captive their for a bit.

Day 12- Parks and Recreation

I hated this show when it first started. I had no idea that it would quickly become one of my favorite shows. And my favorite character is Ron Swanson.

Days 10 and 11 - SKyward Sword and Doctor Who

WIsh i could say I was late posting this because I was out working or making the world a better place. But i was just sitting around watching Spaced (again) and reformatting my computer. but Skyward Sword was my favorite game of last year. And Doctor Who just snuck up on me this year. But god damn i love that silly fucking show.

Day 9- Uncharted 3-Drake's Deception.

I had one hell of an October. I had never played an Uncharted game. I kind of knew what they were, and id heard they were good. But holy hell I had no idea what i was getting myself into when I borrowed my buddy Andrew's PS3 and rented the first in the series. I blew thru it in a few days, and quickly played thru the second. I can't imagine waiting two years for this game. I had to only wait a few weeks, but it kept in the tradition of being great.

Day 8- Favorite Game of 2011 No. 3- Arkham City

Holy shit. Arkham City. I can't even imagine how much smoother APS would have gone if this game wasnt coming out. everyday we wouldn't shut up about the new trailers, and thank god the game was actually fantastic when it was released. I was never really a fan of the batman games, and i even had a hard time getting into Arkham Asylum. Thankfully this wasn't a problem with Arkham city.

Day 7- Favorite Game of 2011 No.4- Super Mario 3D World

Yeah, i changed this game at the last minute. When i really thought about it, this was loads more fun than Mario Kart. Also, those flagpoles are pretty freakin' high.

Day 6- Favorite Game of 2011 No.5- Pokemon Black and White.

Oh, Pokemon. You knock me on my nerdy little ass when i was 10 years old, and I have yet to escape from your neon claws. Luckily, when i got to college i landed in with a group of dorks with my same fate. Black and white were great games, with a complete new set of monster to find, which forced us gamers to use new teams instead of relying on the same old standards. But come on. why the in hell is there a snow cone pokemon?

Day 5- Favorite movie of 2011 No. 1- Super 8

Nothing too fancy today, been busy and ready to head on off to bed. Loved this movie, great kid actors that aren't annoying and terrible. And a cool monster!

Day 4- Favorite Movie of 2011 No.2-The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

"the feel bad movie of Christmas"
they really hit the nail on the head with that tagline. My Dad and I took a late night drive on the 23rd (festivus!) to see this long, twisty movie about serial killers, rape, the crazy revenge after he rape, more killings, family members that hate each other, and lots of piercings.

Day 3- Favorite Movie of 2011 No.3- Attack the Block

Saw this movie late in the summer, and i just loved every minute. at first i hated the aliens, but more and more the design grew on me.

Day 2- Favorite Movie of 2011 No. 4- MIssion Impossible: Ghost Protocol

There is no reason this movie should be as great as it is. Been working alot, so Just a small sketch for today.

Day 1- Favorite Movie of 2011 No.5 Drive

I loved this movie. I saw it at a private showing with Ashley and her friends, and they all disliked it. I however, loved this slow-burn of a movie.
